FUMESCANS – Fans of Silent Hill f will soon have an opportunity to explore the unsettling world of the horror game beyond the screen. An official art and reference book is scheduled to arrive in Japan in December 2026, offering a closer look at the characters, disturbing creatures, and atmospheric environments that shape the game's identity.

The publication is being released under the supervision of the franchise's publisher, Konami, through KADOKAWA. The upcoming book is designed to give readers more than a collection of illustrations. It will feature visual materials covering the game's cast, monsters, locations, weapons, and various objects encountered throughout the adventure.

These details provide an opportunity to examine the artistic decisions behind the game's eerie presentation and its distinctive blend of beauty and horror. Readers can also look forward to interviews with members of the development team and voice cast.

An international release has not been confirmed, so readers outside Japan may need to wait for further distribution information. Released in 2025, Silent Hill f takes the franchise in a different geographical and historical direction.

Rather than using the series' familiar American setting, the game unfolds in the fictional Japanese town of Ebisugaoka during the 1960s. Players follow high school student Hinako Shimizu as a mysterious fog engulfs the town and terrifying creatures begin to appear.

Exploration, puzzle-solving, and encounters with monsters form key parts of Hinako's journey. The Japanese setting and unsettling visual imagery distinguish this entry from earlier installments, while its psychological horror elements continue the franchise's focus on fear, mystery, and disturbing revelations.
